If you’ve played one G5 or Big Fish game, you’ve played Treasure Masters. It’s a standard hidden object loop: look at a messy room, find a teapot and a screwdriver, and unlock a door. The 'mystery' is as thin as a sheet of paper, serving only as a flimsy excuse to move you from one static screen to the next.
The art is fine, though often cluttered in a way that feels cheap rather than challenging. It’s a very conservative approach to the genre that refuses to innovate. There’s a demographic for this—people who want to click on things while listening to a podcast—but as a 'master' of the genre? Far from it. It’s functional, but it’s remarkably boring for anyone who wants a real mental challenge.
