The 'Sharks' themselves are a cast of colorful characters with varying skill levels. Defeating them earns you progress and bragging rights. While the graphics might feel a bit dated compared to modern photorealistic titles, the gameplay holds up remarkably well. The touch-to-aim interface is sensitive but accurate, and the power meter for the cue is easy to master. I've spent many hours in dive bars playing real pool, and this... isn't that. The physics are actually surprisingly tight; the balls move with the right weight and momentum. However, the character models for your opponents look like they were rejected from a PS1 horror game. It’s genuinely off-putting. The 'Vegas' atmosphere is laid on thick but feels incredibly cheap. It’s a shame because the core mechanics of hitting the ball are decent. If you can play with your eyes half-closed during the cutscenes, you might have a bit of fun.
