If you played golf games on the PC in the 90s, you've played Par 72 Golf III. It uses the same 'click-click-click' meter we've been using for thirty years. It’s fine, but it’s completely uninspired. The courses are desolate and look like they were generated by an algorithm having a bad day. The physics are predictable, which I guess is a 'pro' for some people, but there’s no excitement here. No crowds, no commentary, just the lonely sound of a low-bitrate bird chirping while you hit a ball into a blurry green. It’s the definition of 'okay.'
