Flick Golf Extreme is exactly the kind of game that mobile was built for. It’s simple, it’s tactile, and it feels great. The core mechanic—the flick and the mid-air curve—is so satisfying that I found myself losing an hour just trying to shave a few seconds off a challenge. The 'extreme' locales are a hoot; there’s something genuinely funny about trying to sink a birdie on a moving aircraft carrier. It doesn't take itself seriously, and that’s its greatest strength.
From a conservative perspective, I appreciate that it’s a 'buy once, play forever' kind of experience (mostly). It’s not constantly nagging me for money to 'recharge my energy' or buy a better club. It’s all about skill and timing. The visuals are aging a bit, but the art style is clean enough that it still looks decent on a modern screen. My only real complaint is that it can feel a bit repetitive in long sessions. It’s better in five-minute bursts than for a deep dive, but for what it is, it’s exceptionally well-crafted.
