Dinsun here. It’s rare that I’m genuinely impressed by a mobile spin-off, but Very Little Nightmares is the exception. It manages to capture the oppressive, creepy vibe of the console games perfectly. The art direction is top-tier; every room in 'The Nest' feels like it has a story to tell, and the sense of scale makes you feel appropriately tiny and helpless. It doesn't rely on jump scares, but on a lingering sense of dread that is far more effective.
The puzzles are mostly environmental and require a good bit of observation. They aren't impossibly hard, but they are satisfying to solve. My main gripe is the isometric movement; tapping to move can sometimes be imprecise, leading to a few frustrating deaths when you're trying to hide from a monster. Also, it’s a bit short. But I'd much rather have 3 hours of high-quality atmosphere than 50 hours of mindless grinding. This is a real game, and it’s well worth your time.
