I’ve spent many evenings playing Wizard at the kitchen table, and this app is a competent digital substitute. It follows the rules perfectly—which is more than I can say for some people I’ve played with. The bidding system is what makes Wizard great, and the AI here is decent enough to provide a challenge if you can't find real people.

The UI is about as exciting as a tax return, though. It’s very 'functional,' which I usually like, but here it feels a bit lazy. It lacks the tactile feel of actual cards. Still, for a fan of the game who wants to play a few rounds on the go, it gets the job done without any unnecessary drama. It’s a solid 7/10—it does its job, but it won't win any awards for presentation.

In early rounds with fewer cards, be conservative. If you have a Jester, it’s a guaranteed loss of a trick, making a bid of zero much safer. Conversely, a Wizard is almost always a guaranteed win.
