Itressette is a fantastic find for fans of traditional Italian card games. Tressette is a complex, strategic game, and this app does a great job of making it accessible. The inclusion of traditional Neapolitan and Piacentine card decks is a wonderful touch of authenticity.

The AI follows the 'rules' of traditional play quite well, meaning it will lead with high cards to draw out the opponents' strengths just like a real player would. The interface is clean and doesn't clutter the screen, allowing you to focus on the intricate strategy that Tressette requires. A must-have for the Italian diaspora or card game historians.

Tressette is a complex game that rewards memory and strategy, and iTressette implements the rules correctly. The inclusion of traditional regional card decks is a nice touch that shows respect for the source material. However, the app itself feels like a hobbyist project from ten years ago.

The buttons are small, the menus are confusing, and the AI is predictable. If you already know how to play Tressette, you'll find it functional. If you're trying to learn, look elsewhere—the tutorial is non-existent. It’s a very conservative, niche product that does its job but makes no effort to be welcoming or modern. It’s basically a piece of digital preservation rather than a modern gaming experience.

In Tressette, the 3 is the highest card, followed by the 2 and then the Ace. Remember that Aces are worth 1 point, while 2s, 3s, Kings, Queens, and Jacks are worth 1/3 of a point.
