Kairosoft and Doraemon is a match made in heaven. If you’ve played a Kairosoft game before, you know the drill—addictive management loops, charming pixel art, and a surprising amount of depth. But adding the Doraemon license makes it feel special. Using 'secret gadgets' to solve management problems is a brilliant way to integrate the source material. It’s not just a skin; the game actually feels like a Doraemon adventure.

The 'Plus' version on Apple Arcade is fantastic because Kairosoft games can sometimes feel a bit grindy if they have microtransactions. Here, the pacing feels just right. There’s a lot to manage, and it can be a bit confusing at first since there are so many menus and stats, but once you find your rhythm, it’s hard to put down. Seeing all the different Fujiko・F・Fujio characters show up at your shop is a great reward for fans. It’s a cozy, slightly chaotic, and deeply charming management sim.

Kairosoft has been making the same game for 20 years, but I’m a sucker for it every time. Adding Doraemon to the mix is just the icing on the cake. It’s a deep management sim disguised as a cute anime game. You have to balance ingredients, shop layout, and staff training. It’s a bit menus-heavy—typical for Kairosoft—but once you get into the rhythm, it’s hard to put down. It’s a conservative, old-school management game that doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel, and for a gamer like me, that’s exactly what I want.
