Helix Jump+ is proof that the simplest ideas are often the most effective. In its original form, the game was often buried under aggressive advertising. In the 'Plus' version on Apple Arcade, the core gameplay finally gets to breathe. The result is a hypnotic, almost meditative experience where you can truly focus on the rhythm of the bounce.
The developers have clearly spent time on the feel of the game. The haptic feedback on iPhone is exceptional—you can feel the 'heaviness' of the ball and the slight vibration as it passes through a gap. It’s a level of sensory detail you don't expect from a game that looks this minimal.
While it might not have the depth of a 40-hour RPG, it’s arguably one of the most 'pick-up-and-playable' games on the service. The new daily levels and hard mode provide just enough incentive to keep coming back. It’s the perfect digital fidget toy.
Dinsun here. I’ve seen this game a thousand times under a thousand different names. Helix Jump is the pinnacle of the 'Hypercasual' plague. It’s designed to be played for 30 seconds while you wait for something better to happen. There is no depth, no real skill ceiling, and certainly no art.
The game is a vehicle for advertisements. You play for 15 seconds, you watch a 30-second ad. It’s an insult to the medium of gaming. The physics are floaty, and the 'difficulty' is just a matter of the level generator putting a red zone in an annoying spot. It’s a mindless distraction that I wouldn't even call a game. It’s more like a digital fidget spinner, but one that tries to sell you insurance every two minutes.

Helix Jump+ is the premium version of the hyper-casual hit that took the world by storm. The goal is simple: rotate a spiraling tower to allow a bouncing ball to fall through gaps while avoiding hazardous color-coded platforms. This Apple Arcade edition features enhanced visual effects, precise haptics that make every bounce feel real, and new 'Hard Mode' and 'Weekly Star Challenge' modes. Without any ads to break your concentration, it’s the ultimate version of a modern arcade classic.

While the deals and the stats of the gaming world are important, nothing would happen without the research, funding and, of course,...

Hard Mode introduces moving platforms and smaller gaps. Precision is key here; don't rush the fall. Sometimes a small bounce is necessary to time the next gap correctly.
