Army Commander is a surprisingly addictive 'push' game. It takes the complexity of an RTS and boils it down to the most fun parts: building an army and watching it steamroll the opposition. The mechanic of physically collecting dog tags to build your base keeps you active and engaged with the front lines.
The progression feels great, especially when you finally unlock the tank factory and see your small squad turn into a massive armored column. It’s perfect for short bursts of play, though it can get a bit grindy in the later stages. For a casual strategy title, it hits all the right notes of satisfying combat and visible growth.
Sonic Dash was always a decent runner, but it was ruined by predatory F2P mechanics. The Apple Arcade version fixes that. It’s fast, the controls are responsive, and the progression actually feels fair now. It's nothing revolutionary—we've all played Temple Run—but it captures the Sonic speed well enough. A solid 'waiting for the bus' game.
Performance: Very smooth 60fps on modern devices.

Army Commander is a simplified military strategy game where you play as a general on the front lines. Your primary goal is to collect 'dog tags' from fallen enemies and use them as currency to build barracks, factories, and airfields. As your army grows, you push the front line forward, eventually taking over the enemy's headquarters. Unlock powerful vehicles and special abilities to turn the tide of war.
