Blocky Baseball is a delightful arcade take on America’s pastime. Like the other 'Blocky' sports titles, it leans into the fun and ridiculous rather than trying to be a serious sim. Hitting a home run and watching the 'crazy characters' react is always satisfying.

The pitching mechanics are surprisingly deep for a one-touch game, allowing you to actually feel like you're outsmarting the batter. Unlocking the 60+ characters gives you a nice sense of progression, and the stadium customization is a cool touch. It’s perfect for casual sports fans who just want to hit some dingers.

I like baseball. This is not baseball. This is a timing mini-game with a baseball skin. The voxel graphics are fine—everyone’s doing them these days—but the gameplay is as shallow as a birdbath. You tap, you hit, you repeat. It’s perfect for a 40-year-old on a bus, I suppose, but don't expect to feel like you're in the World Series. It’s disposable entertainment, meant to be deleted once you've unlocked the fifth character.
