Bunco is a game played by people who want an excuse to drink wine and gossip. Without the wine and the gossip, you're just clicking a button to watch dice roll. This app is the pinnacle of 'why does this exist?' The AI is brain-dead, the visuals look like they were pulled from a 2005 shareware disk, and there is zero skill involved. It's pure RNG.

I’ve played better versions of Yahtzee on a calculator. If you're so desperate for Bunco that you need it on your phone, you probably need to get out more. The UI is clunky, and the 'excitement' of getting a Bunco is completely lost when it's just a bunch of pixels flashing. This isn't gaming; it's a random number generator with a bad skin.

There are six rounds in each set of Bunco. The bell signals the beginning and the end of each round. Players earn points by rolling three dice. In each round, players are trying to roll the same number as the number of the round (for example, rolling at least one 3 in Round 3). One point is awarded for each number rolled that matches the round number. A player continues rolling until no points are scored. The dice then pass to the computer (3 different AI options to choose from). The round is over when 21 points total is reached. Rolling three-of-a-kind of the same number of the round you're on is a BUNCO! It is worth 21 points! Rolling three-of-a-kind other than the number of the round you're on is worth 5 points.

Scoring the Big Points

Keep an eye on the round number. In Round 1, you want 1s. In Round 2, you want 2s. If you roll three 3s in Round 3, you get a 'Bunco' (21 points). If you roll three-of-a-kind of any OTHER number, you get 5 points.
