Kairosoft knows exactly what they’re doing, and Burger Bistro Story is proof of that. If you’ve played one of their games, you know the rhythm, but the burger theme fits their systems perfectly. There’s a genuine sense of satisfaction in discovering a 'perfect' ingredient combo that sends your stats through the roof. It’s a slow burn, conservative in its design, and it doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. I appreciate that. It’s a solid, premium experience without the predatory microtransactions that plague the rest of the App Store. My only gripe is that it feels a bit too familiar if you've played their previous titles like 'Game Dev Story'—it’s the same engine with a different coat of paint. Still, it’s one of the few mobile games I’d actually recommend paying for.
