Dinsun Review
Dinsun back again. I remember when puzzles required a manual and a notepad; now they just require a working index finger. Coin Stack Puzzle is a skin of the 'Water Sort' genre. You move a top item to another stack of the same color. That's the whole game. There is no strategy that isn't immediately obvious within two seconds of looking at the screen.
It bills itself as 'relaxing,' but I find the lack of intellectual friction frustrating. The haptic feedback on the coins is a nice touch, I suppose, but it’s a distraction from the fact that you aren't actually solving anything complex. It’s a Skinner box with coins instead of pellets. Not for me, and probably not for anyone who grew up with real logic puzzles.
