This game can be really good!
Sat Oct 26 2024 bnuuywifeHi, ive been playing this game since before it had the store, extra heros, and pets. When this game was bare bones! I love it but there are things to add! First and foremost sound. There is zero sound in the game and i think some sound design could be amazing! Second, after you reach max level on your heros, you cannot collect reward that would give you level up materials and you get stuck unable to collect anything! If players rach max level instead of rewarding nothing for playing, instead make a % of what they couldve earned in level up material as coins! Coins are extremely hard to get so making them earnable after you cant earn level up materials would be great! Also, now that I am not earning level up materials, i am getting zero rewards for playing and beating rounds, not even spell cards. I have to wait for the next update to be able to play at all with a chance to continue to grow. Maxing the level for heros at level 30 is also super low. Please add more free to play heros! I think locking your only female character behind a paywall is a little odd as well. Thanks for your time!
Very Fun Game! Too Buggy Though.

I love this game! I play it daily. I love the simplicity of it. You roll dice and attack monsters. Simple and fun. I gave it a 3 star rating because although it’s fun, it’s buggy and glitchy too. Not sure if it makes a difference or not but I play on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Sometimes, a chest or mimic monster will spawn. Defeating them rewards a single dice upgrade. However, if you level up your xp bar and defeat a mimic at the same time, you’ll get the mimic upgrade and then the level up upgrade. Somehow, the mimic upgrade screen stays active even for the level up screen and you can’t tap anything. The game essentially freezes. The only way I found to fix that is closing the app and restarting the level. Very annoying. They also have events or quests where if you play a specific level daily, you can unlock things. I beat all 30 days worth and was promised 50/50 shards for a new hero. Somehow, I only. Ended up with 15. I should have the new hero by now, but I don’t because the game didn’t register I beat all 30 levels, even when it says I did.
So if they fix the few bugs, and give me my hero I earned, then I’d give it a 5/5 star rating in a heartbeat. If they don’t fix them, it’s still playable, but annoying a lot.
Great concept, buggy execution
Thu Dec 05 2024 BulletNinjaI’m a big fan of the idea of this game and appreciate the rogue-like progression, but there are a few glaring bugs that hold me back from fully enjoying the experience:
1. Survival/Endless mode is bugged. When I toggle the switch and choose a starting hero, the game just freezes. I can’t find a way out except force-closing the app.
2. Sometimes when I clear all waves the game doesn’t progress. It doesn’t freeze, but I don’t win either; the dice just stop rolling and sit there for spawns that don’t exist.
3. Perhaps my biggest gripe: the auto-targeting system needs a rework. It does a fine job of aiming abilities where they’d do the most damage, but sometimes there will be one enemy that just makes it to your wall with 1 HP left and starts bashing it, and none of your attacks will try and finish it off as it destroys your base completely. It’s not clustered with anything else so none of your abilities aim for it, but even a single dagger could finish it off. You end up losing because everyone maximized their damage vs just trying to not die. Please fix the auto-targeting system, or at least let us select whether to prioritize damage or picking off low health enemies.
4. Please let us have a way to exit the current level. Sometimes I get off to a bad start or want to go back to the menu, but there’s no way to leave a game that stated except for exiting the app.
Great concept, HORRIBLE execution
Tue Feb 18 2025 HellonenThe idea is fresh and enjoyable, but the effort put in to realize that idea is abysmal… the sprites are cool when they are fully cropped from where they come from, otherwise it looks like a child with Parkinson’s tried to cut out a complex shape with scissors. Not to mention the game is actually unplayable at a certain point because the wizard is just so good at his job he sends the enemies to Narnia and unless you kill them in the attack that sent them flying off the map, they are gone forever and you’ll never win. Which brings me to my next point: ADD A WAY TO FORFEIT OR GIVE UP A MATCH (put it in the settings button or something jeez). I’m sick of the wizard sending the enemies to Mars for extended vacation and having to completely close the app to remedy the situation. Ive noticed that the “enemy off the map glitch” tends to happen when you have both the fire and freeze double combination effect and a few grows for the special dice slot for the wizard, they just slide right past the castle wall never to be seen again (a much better fate than playing this game in its current state). I like the idea of this game, and it could eventually be a good game, but right now it’s a low effort cash grab grift at most. It matches the typical slop that keeps you around long enough to watch adds and maybe buy something (don’t). 7.5/10 idea 2/10 execution, truly disappointing.
Repetitive and Unrewarding
Sat Jul 26 2025 PlantProfessorThe game was pretty good to start out with: Play a few levels, lose, power up, clear a few more levels. Then, once you begin to max out your characters, it becomes virtually impossible to lose, with only the “infinite” challenge being able to challenge you only due to the fact that the upgrades and downgrades are literally random, sometimes not giving you a fair chance to even win. After you beat the first 11 or so levels, rather than stopping or providing new levels, the level cycle just repeats, with 12 being the same as 1, 13 being the same as 2, etc, etc. Hoping that in the future, the “infinite” challenge becomes more balanced and that more is added to the game (i.e. rarer items than rare, more challenging levels, more emblem options, more characters). Last thing I’ll say, while the game is free-to-play with ads of course (what games aren’t nowadays), the fact that it would cost me 40+$ for the premium characters is pretty insane. I get it, we all have to make our money somewhere, but to lock a pretty significant part of the game behind such a steep paywall is just uncool. I couldn’t even reason myself to buy them.
Fun for a month
Sun May 04 2025 ItchySpider88The game was really interesting and fun for a while when I first downloaded it. There was a feeling of progression and it was fun to unlock new characters. But especially after a recent update, the progression has come to a grinding halt. When a new character unlocks, they are now severely underleveled compared to the rest of your characters, meaning you won’t want to use them until they’ve leveled up more. But even when I do use my stronger characters, it feels like 80% of the time I lose a battle without ever killing a single minion. The attacks target the closest minion, and when they start to form up at the bottom, you spread your attacks out against them all instead of targeting the weakest one, so you never earn an upgrade and just sit waiting to lose. Also there is no way to forfeit a battle when you already know you’re going to lose, so you just have to wait for it to play itself out. There are 3 additional characters that require real life currency purchase to access, but it just doesn’t feel like a worthwhile investment. It’s a shame, I really enjoyed this game for a while, but now it’s usually more of a chore to play.
Ads on ads on ads and bugs
Thu Jan 16 2025 Got CensoredGame is decent at its core and has potential, but if you like to play these apps for free then this is probably not the game for you unless you have a few extra hours to dedicate to ads. I’m fine with having optional ads, but on top of those (it’s a lot) they also jam a few ads into the short actual gameplay portion which for whatever reason irritates me to no end. That would’ve been the final nail in the coffin for me, but the fact that the game bugged out multiple times after I beat a level so I had to close out and replay the level. Annoying. Now it seems to endlessly bug after I beat level three on the third area (Haunted whatever). So I can’t even attempt to progress. But EVEN if it would let me pass, my opportunity to progress would soon be entirely stifled unless I pay money for things in-game because there’s no way to go back and play previous levels for ingredients for upgrades.
TLDR: if you want to play free with ads, you better have a lot of time and be prepared to only be able to play for a few hours before you will not even be able to progress anymore. Then you’ll delete.
Paid characters
Sat Mar 08 2025 123Anna5I want to start out by saying this game is genuinely really fun, it’s well made and deserves a 5 star rating, but my one issue with this game is big enough that it does warrant a one star cause it says a lot about the developers and what they think of their player base. Every character can be obtained through standard gameplay, except for two. The only female heroes are pay to obtain and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Especially considering they’re both over 35$ EACH. In the modern economy there is no justification for that, especially given Electra’s art. Seriously, Electra was either ai generated or the artist was really struggling. Her right hand has four fingers while her left has five, her eyes are two completely different shapes and she’s looking two different directions. And this is a paid character! You’re paying 35 dollars for a character who’s looking in two directions. Tinker’s art is stunning but she’s 50$. This is a really fun game but that is a rip off. every other character has a masculine design, and I don’t think their only femme characters only being obtained through the shop was a coincidence. It’s really sexist and a ploy to get the simps to buy. Women aren’t purchasable objects. Do better.
