Sun Sep 28 2025 Imapro870I really love the style of the game and the easily understandable game, but there are a few major problems that ive encountered. Sometimes the unit pathing completely messes up and the units just simply do not work and fight, and also the units sometimes always take the path to one side of the screen and your other side is completely exposed so its basically an instant loss. Another problem I have is the utter uselessness of ALL the weapon facilities. once they are upgraded they can be helpful but if you keep rolling the ballista, trebuchet, and lightning its almost always a garunteed loss, especially if its before round 5 on levels past 10. i think it would be more enjoyable if each level rolled the cards at the beginning and you could get 3 unit facilities and 2 weapon facilities with 1 healing/shield and 2 other facilities so each round you can max your cards easier and its actually winnable most times because ive found myself stuck on certain levels for almost 50 tries to just easily beat it once i get super lucky. i understand that luck is a big part but thats why the card upgrades are a thing. i know this was a rant but i really hope the devs see this and fix the actual problems at least and consider a different card rolling selection at the beginning
Great game

I have been playing this game for about a month and spent some money on it, which I never do, I’ve ran into a few glitches: 1) I cannot play passed level 200 it won’t let me start a game at all. 2) where you collect the chapter awards is giving unlimited awards therefore you can collect as many as you want. 3) my money is not counting up or down. 4) the raid ticket system is not counting the ticket I have or have used. 5) The Manor section did not give me an upgrade to the manor and is one piece behind I should have 5 desert trees and not 4. Other than those issues I am enjoying the game very much.

You don't necessarily have to purchase them either, there are emulators and even services that provide access to cloud-based hardware farms for this purpose specifically. This would minimize preventable issues, like your app crashing on launch for a significant portion of your potential users. If this isn't financially feasible, at the very least, please include a list of compatible devices and OS versions in the app description. (Original Review Below) Initially a fun an enjoyable game mechanic, but it's plagued with bugs and balance issues. Often, you'll get a load-out that won't even let you win the first round, so there a lot of quitting and restarting the level. There's no backtracking or replaying levels to grind out experience, so you'll eventually hit a wall where winning comes down to sheer luck, with vanishingly small odds. The game is unplayable in it's current condition;Not due to any design choices mind you, the app simply crashes immediately after opening. At least, it does on my device. -star for bugs. -star for balance. -star for lack of communication.
Some problems
Wed Apr 16 2025 Flaws with gameplayThe game is fun don’t get me wrong but there’s to many flaws that I have experienced that’s decreased the amount of joy while playing this game. For an example the patching for the ai is incredibly stupid in where they can get stuck up on each other preventing them from leaving to attack or they get stuck on the wall so they can’t do any damage to the enemy’s. It’s so frustrating when you have a good run and it’s ruined by the ai doing dumb stuff. Also the bosses have op abilities and if you don’t have the right set up to face them you are sure to fail the level. As an example one of the bosses has a ground pound ability that stuns friendly ai and he can go across the map and use it back to back so it’s frustrating when it uses that ability to jump onto my troops that are next to my wall in an instant and have it attack my wall constantly. If you don’t have enough turrets and the knock back ability for them it feels like it’s impossible to do.
Review and Complaint
Mon May 26 2025 Murder muThis game is by far one of the best tactical games I’ve played, especially by mobile standards. It doesn’t bombard you with ads, and it doesn’t feel like a half-baked project thrown together just to generate ad revenue — which is incredibly rare these days. As an avid mobile gamer, I find this genuinely refreshing.
Now for my complaint: I don’t like that I’m struggling to complete a round, and when I level up, the game offers me skills for facilities I don’t even have on the board. This forces me to watch a re-roll ad, and 9 times out of 10, I end up with an even worse result. It doesn’t feel rewarding at all — unless I just push through and finish the level to get the gems and keys, and even then, it hardly feels worth it.
I want to give this a 4 star but I can’t. It’ll make me feel like my complaint is minimal if I do.
Crashing Glitch (+UPDATE)
Sun Sep 07 2025 RisentoAshesI’ve had this game for a good while now, and have made great progress (currently on chapter 127). Overall, it has good mechanics and a really simple but effective concept.
However, there is one fatal glitch - the game likes to crash mid-match. Each match has 10 waves, and there is no save feature to save your spot in case of a glitch or if you just need to exit the game, you would have to start the match over again. It wouldn’t be a huge issue if it was quick games, but each match takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes, depending on how much damage you’re doing each wave. For me, it loves to crash on the last wave, when I’ve already defeated all enemies and just am working on the boss. Mind you, this means I’m already about 10-15 mins into this match, and am literally seconds away from beating the match and getting the completion rewards. It’s a huge let down when this happens, opening back up the game to find that I have to do that match all over again.
Overall, I do recommend this game, but I really hope the developers read this review so that this fatal glitch can get fixed.
UPDATE: Can’t even make it through a whole match now without it closing out, extremely frustrating.
Fun game with significant flaws
Sat May 31 2025 AndinyanFirst, and most frustrating, as you progress, the enemy start doing substantially more damage to your fort walls than to your units. At later levels you can die from a handful of stray arrows or fireballs. It makes a lot of the potential buildings mostly useless, since your units endlessly replenish and, more importantly, stop enemy ranged attacks from getting through, except when they don’t.
Hit detection for ranged attacks is also messed up; ranged attacks of all kinds can fly right through a unit (ally or enemy) that just got hit by something else.
Unit pathing needs work; units will often pace endlessly behind friendlies, stuck trying to get through a path that doesn’t exist or trying to push past an ally who doesn’t move.
Damage scaling doesn’t work very well. Turrets fire a lot slower than a unit attacks, so their DPS lags really badly behind what units can manage.
RNG for structures needs a serious look, since starting with two defense turrets is a good way to lose almost instantly, and starting with two ranged unit generators is just as bad. In addition, certain of the structures take up too much space to be useful, such as catapults, fountains, and smithies. There is no world where I would take a catapult over a mage house, for example.
Bad music, bad pacing, no manual control, boring
Sat Sep 20 2025 CritiqeurFirst off the music is godawful, I'm supposed to be fighting monsters to THIS?? This medieval elevator music? Come on man. Second the ai of your troops is horrible, they're sending 20 troops at one large boss and getting killed before they even hit him a second time instead of going after all the archers behind him, and there's no way to direct your troops to one spot. The fact you can't move things around after you already placed everything available is stupid. It's just boring man I'm sorry. It needs more violence, it needs 1 thing you CAN control if you want but will still automatically attack, while the rest attack automatically and move on their own. Like you should get a turret you can aim where you want as it shoots or something. But idk man it's just super boring and you can't even speed up games.
Great game, slightly overpriced
Thu Sep 18 2025 DrDungusVery well-designed game, but the in-game purchases are a bit overpriced. The base gameplay is super engrossing and there is literally no other game close to this good in the App Store. The main issue is that the two big upgrade systems take way too long to complete, and the money investment to finish them is way too high. Like hundreds of dollars.
These upgrades make your units and buildings better, adding new talents and options, which is really cool, but the game is really fun without them too. I just wish they didn’t require such a grind to unlock. I’ve been playing the game basically nonstop for a month and I’m maybe 1/5th of the way done unlocking them. Maybe not even that close.
So overpriced monetization on top of a phenomenal game that just has one balancing issue in my opinion, being that my units now have so much health that not one of them ever dies anymore. It is still possible to lose if the enemies get around my units and attack the base, so the balance isn’t completely destroyed by this.
Great game, highly recommended.
WAS FIVE STARS
Fri Aug 22 2025 Erik113083This game was a great way to pass the time. A week ago I would have still given it 5 stars. Now it’s just ads, ads, ads, and you guessed it…. More ads! The worst part is it interferes with the actual game play.
At the beginning of ever level you have a set amount of space you can build on. Prior to the last update you could use the money you make defeating enemies to expand that area. “If” you wanted to you could watch an ad to get extra. As long as you had money, you could expand. Now after only 2 buys you must watch ads to add on. Oh and half way through the 10 waves and after you also have to watch ads now.
It’s not like this is some block buster game but it’s sad when a developer gets so greedy that they force you to watch the ads just to play the game.
