Fight Master is a quirky and surprisingly tactical 'boss-rusher' that feels like a mix between a traditional fighting game and a puzzle-platformer. You play as a hero who must navigate through a series of arenas, taking down massive enemies by utilizing a unique 'drag-and-drop' combat system. Instead of mashing buttons, you're often drawing the path of your attack or timing your parries based on visual cues.

The character designs are a highlight—they're colorful, expressive, and full of personality. The game does a great job of introducing new mechanics at a steady pace, so you never feel overwhelmed. It’s particularly satisfying to find the 'weak spot' on a giant boss and execute a perfect combo to bring them down. It’s a great example of how to make a fighting game feel fresh and native to a touchscreen device without losing the 'hardcore' feel of the genre.

I grew up on Street Fighter and Tekken. This isn't that. 'Fight Master' is a simplified mobile brawler that reduces combat to a few repetitive taps. The animations are stiff, and the hit detection is questionable at best. There’s no sense of 'mastery' here—you just spam the attack button until the ragdoll enemies fall over. The level design is uninspired, mostly consisting of flat planes and the same three enemy types. It’s another hyper-casual attempt to distill a complex genre into something 'accessible,' but in doing so, they've stripped away everything that makes fighting games rewarding. A disappointment for anyone over the age of ten.
