Dinsun here. If you're looking for a serious football sim, keep walking. Football Battle: Touchdown is an arcade game through and through, and a fairly repetitive one at that. The 'battle' part mostly involves simple lane-shifting and timing mini-games that quickly lose their luster.
The art style is that generic 'big head' look that every casual game has used for the last five years. It’s clearly designed for short bursts of play, but the lack of actual tactical depth makes those bursts feel like chores after a while. The progression system is geared toward unlocking players that just have higher numbers, with very little impact on how the game actually plays. It's a shallow interpretation of the sport that will likely only satisfy very young kids or someone who has never seen a real game of football.
