I'm a fan of a good tycoon game, but Junkyard Keeper isn't one. It’s a transparent treadmill. You move garbage from point A to point B to make a number go up. There’s no strategy in the layout, no real management of staff or logistics—just endless, mindless clicking. The physics on the crane are floaty and unsatisfying, which is a shame because that should be the core 'fun' of a junkyard sim. It feels like it was built around an ad-revenue model rather than a compelling gameplay hook. If you want to feel like you're working without getting a paycheck, this is for you.
