Dinsun Review
Dinsun here. Mayhem Shooter tries to live up to its name by throwing everything at the screen at once. Unfortunately, it’s mostly visual noise masking a very basic 'survive the wave' loop. The controls are a bit slippery, which is a death sentence for a game that requires precision dodging. It feels like it wants to be a bullet-hell game, but the hitboxes are inconsistent and the enemy patterns are predictable.
The weapon variety is okay, but most upgrades feel like minor stat bumps rather than meaningful changes to how you play. It lacks the 'crunch' of a truly great arcade shooter. I’ve seen this done better twenty years ago in Flash games. It’s a decent enough distraction for a five-minute wait at a bus stop, but there’s no substance here to justify a serious session. It’s loud, it’s flashy, and it’s ultimately forgettable.
