Mini Escapes: Infinity Pool is the perfect 'lunch break' game. It doesn't try to be a 40-hour epic; it just wants to give you a smart, self-contained challenge, and it does that brilliantly. The setting is lovely—the bright colors and ambient water sounds make the puzzle-solving feel much more relaxed than your typical 'dark, spooky basement' escape game.
The logic is consistently sound. You won't find any 'adventure game logic' here where you have to combine a rubber duck with a chainsaw; everything makes sense within the context of the resort. While it’s on the shorter side, the quality of the puzzles is higher than many full-priced alternatives. If you love escape rooms but don't have all day, this is an excellent choice.
The 'Mini' in the title is no joke. I sat down with this and was done before I finished a cup of coffee. The puzzles are standard fare—find the code behind the plant, use the item on the lock—nothing that hasn't been done a thousand times before. The luxury pool setting is nice enough, but it feels like a stock asset pack with zero personality.
There’s no real tension or mystery here. It’s a very safe, very bland puzzle experience. For a free-to-play title, I expect some ads, but the ratio of ad-watching to puzzle-solving is skewed. It’s fine for a quick distraction, but it’s entirely forgettable. If you’ve played one of these 'escape' games on mobile, you’ve essentially played this one.
