Kairosoft is the King of 'Comfort Games.' Pocket Harvest doesn't try to change the world; it just wants you to worry about crop yields and tourist attractions for a few hours. I’ve played nearly all their games, and this one is definitely in the top half. The management loop is tight, and there's a genuine sense of satisfaction when you finally unlock a high-value crop.

However, if you've played Game Dev Story or Hot Springs Story, you know exactly what to expect. The UI is still a bit clunky on modern screens, and the pixel art, while charming, is starting to feel a little recycled. It’s a great game to play while watching TV, but it doesn't quite reach the heights of their best work. It's 'more of the same,' which is both its strength and its weakness.
