SNKRX is one of the most innovative 'rogue-lite' titles I’ve played in years. It takes the classic 'Snake' movement mechanic and fuses it with a deep, auto-battler class system. You control a snake made of diverse heroes, and as you slither around the arena, your heroes automatically attack enemies. The genius lies in the synergy system: having three 'Mages' or four 'Warriors' in your snake unlocks massive power spikes.

The game is incredibly fast-paced and challenging. Every run feels different because of the randomized shop between rounds, forcing you to adapt your build on the fly. The minimalist pixel-art and high-energy electronic soundtrack create a 'trance-like' experience that makes it very hard to put down. It’s a pure, skill-based title with no persistent 'pay-to-win' stats. For fans of deep strategy and arcade action, this is a must-play masterpiece.

SNKRX is an arcade shooter roguelite where you control a snake made of multiple heroes, with each one having their own attacks, passives and classes. Inspired by the auto-battler genre, each hero in the snake has a set of classes, and combining enough heroes of the same class together grants additional class bonuses. Heroes can also be upgraded to be more powerful when copies are bought from the shop.

Building Synergies

Focus on 'Class' bonuses rather than individual hero power. A snake with 3 'Healers' and 3 'Warriors' is far more survivable than a random mix of high-level heroes. Synergies provide massive percent-based stat boosts that are essential for the late-game bosses.
