Dinsun here. We’ve reached the bottom of the barrel with this one. Slide.io is a derivative clone that doesn't even try to hide its lack of original thought. It takes the Slither.io formula—eat orbs, grow long, don't hit others—and reproduces it with lower fidelity and more intrusive advertisements.

The 'multiplayer' often feels populated by mindless bots, and when you do encounter real players, the lag usually kills you before your reflexes can. There’s a certain nostalgia for the old Snake games, but this isn't it. This is a cynical attempt to capture traffic from a popular genre without putting in the work to make a stable or unique experience. At 40, I’ve played enough Snake to know when I’m being served leftovers.
