Sat Dec 15 2018 charlielemonsMy son loves adventures by Fire Maple Games. He just turned 10 but we discovered them 3 years ago. The puzzles are fun and for the most part clever and intuitive - the story worlds have a nice atmosphere. We saw that this came out today and played it through together on separate devices for the first time. I’d recommend that if you are able - there was a lot of “wait for me!” from both of us as if we were really exploring a physical place and it was fun solving the puzzles collaboratively.
There was a funny moment involving older technology where I said “oops” after making a mistake and skipping a step like I’d done in real life (trying not to spoil but this would “ruin” something). It wasn’t part of the game but again it was fun to connect and explain how this works in real life.
Looking forward to the next installment! I appreciate the rare game like this that can challenge bright kids without having more mature content.

Sat Dec 15 2018 GizmoMaine...off by reports of a glitch in the hints system. This delightful adventure is intuitive enough that you can figure it out and if need be, the developer is very responsive. My biggest stumbling point was the musical tool box and I’ll give you this hint for that: examine everything in your inventory carefully front to back, then find the place where your inventory items fit just right. Nothing is obscure or a trick you’d never think of. No brain-busting difficulty. Beautiful graphics, smooth play, and a story that’s sweet and engaging. Relaxing afternoon and well worth the price.

I got well past the Tool Box without needing any hints, but now I am really stumped and the only hint I get is for the tool box. Even after restarts and updates it never changes. I’ve gotten every FireMaple game made and have loved them all. This was the first time I’ve gotten one when it was brand new. Next time I’ll wait until the glitches have all been addressed. For now I’m shelving this one.

The game itself is already fun but the soundtrack really enhances the experience of the game even further. Please keep using the same music composer for your next game. This game particularly reminds me of the places I hiked in Connecticut. The story behind this game is also pretty neat. I like how you make it mysterious but yet not scary at all and they are kids friendly. Keep up the good work with the same style games. Looking forward to your next game.

The puzzles are too simple compared to many others of the genre. The majority of the game is spent clicking around to get to the right location to use the obvious item. The other gripe is that if you are playing this on a mobile device and you switch to answer a text the game needs to reboot. The user interface is clunky and the “cut scenes” are tedious.
I give the game 3 stars for the art work and the cute story, but as paid for puzzle game I was rather disappointed with the lack of challenge.

I have played every Fire Maple title, and every one is unique, beautifully crafted, and enjoyable. This game is no exception, with an especially poignant story thread that runs throughout. I follow few developers, but Fire Maple Games titles are an instant “take my money please” whenever they come out. Looking forward to the next one, and I hope the wait is not so long :-)

Wed Dec 26 2018 Gregory-TAlthough this one wasn’t my favorite of Fire Maple Games’ amazing collection, it still beats every other adventure game out there. They put their heart and soul into their games, and they never disappoint. I agree with everyone that this game was shorter. It also had less puzzles and complexity. But I’ll take it any day. Hearing about a new game by these guys is like Christmas Day all over again. Keep up the amazing work!

They can be a little corny sometimes but that’s part of the charm. I only needed one hint. They game is short, but I would rather do short that long and boring. I say play it. Play them all. Lost City, is still my fave.
