Undead Horde 2: Necropolis is a brilliant evolution of the 'Necromancer-ARPG' subgenre. While the first game was excellent, the sequel introduces city-building elements that add a much-needed layer of strategic depth. You aren't just a roving lich anymore; you are rebuilding the Necropolis to its former glory. Raising an army of the dead feels as satisfying as ever, but now, choosing which units to resurrect—from skeletons to powerful undead giants—requires actual tactical thought.

The gameplay loop is addictive: venture out, raze a human settlement, collect 'soul' resources, and return home to upgrade your crypts. The combat is a chaotic, fun blend of hack-and-slash and real-time strategy. Controlling a massive horde with a single swipe feels empowering, especially when you encounter high-tier human paladins that require specific unit counters to defeat. It’s a dark, humorous, and deeply rewarding experience that any fan of Diablo or Overlord should own.

Tips

Building the Perfect Horde

Don't just rely on basic skeletons. Early in the game, prioritize unlocking Undead Archers. Having a backline of ranged units allows your front-line 'tank' units to absorb damage while you pick off human clerics who can heal their troops.
