We’ve been playing word searches since the Sunday paper was the only source of entertainment, and this version adds nothing to the legacy. It’s competent in its execution, but the market is absolutely saturated with these. The 'Legend' title is an overstatement.

My biggest gripe is the flow; you solve a puzzle that takes 30 seconds, then you’re hit with a 30-second ad. It breaks the concentration and turns a relaxing activity into a chore. The visuals are colorful, maybe too much so—it looks like it was designed for a five-year-old, yet the puzzles are standard adult fare. It’s functional, but it lacks any sort of soul or reason to choose it over the five hundred other word search apps on the store.
