I’ve been solving puzzles since before most of these 'developers' were born, and while Sudoku Simple+ is technically competent, it lacks soul. It’s a grid on a screen. There are no bells, no whistles, and frankly, no reason to celebrate. It does exactly what it says on the tin: it provides Sudoku. The interface is clean, I’ll give it that, but it feels sterile. In an era where every app is trying to steal your attention with flashing lights, I suppose the silence here is a mercy, but it also makes the experience feel somewhat hollow.
Technically, it runs fine. I didn't encounter any hitches on my iPad, but then again, if a device with this much processing power struggled to render a 9x9 grid, we’d have bigger problems. It's a conservative choice for your library—good for a quiet commute or a flight, but don't expect it to change your life. It’s the digital equivalent of a bran muffin: it’s fine, it’s functional, but you aren't exactly excited about it.
