Drive Ahead! Carcade in Apple Arcade

Look, I’ve seen enough 'physics-based' racers to know that 'chaotic' is often code for 'unreliable.' Drive Ahead! Carcade is exactly what it looks like: a flashy, pixelated arena where you hope your front wheels land on the other guy's skull before he does the same to you. As Dinsun, I find the core loop functional but ultimately thin. It’s the kind of game that relies heavily on the 'just one more round' dopamine hit without offering much for the brain to chew on. The multiplayer is stable enough, but the skill ceiling feels like it’s made of glass.

The progression system is standard mobile fare—lots of shiny things to unlock that don't fundamentally change the fact that you're doing the same three things over and over. If you're 40 like me, you'll appreciate the retro aesthetic, but you'll likely grow tired of the randomness within twenty minutes. It’s competent for what it is, but 'what it is' isn't exactly a masterpiece of the genre.
