Dinsun here. Farming games are a dime a dozen. Farmside is better than most simply because it's on Apple Arcade and doesn't have the soul-crushing microtransactions found in things like FarmVille. It’s purely about the management. The 3D graphics are bright and efficient, though lacking character.
It’s a bit shallow. There’s no real social depth or complex story like in Stardew Valley. You plant, you wait, you harvest, you buy more stuff. It’s a loop that works, but it doesn’t inspire. It’s safe. Too safe. It’s the kind of game I’d give to someone who just wants to organize digital vegetables without being harassed for money.
