MobilityWare has a knack for taking simple concepts and making them feel premium, and Crazy Eights+ is no exception. While the core game is something we've all played as kids, the 'Plus' treatment adds a level of polish that makes it hard to put down. The 70s aesthetic is a bold choice that actually works well, giving the game a distinct personality in a sea of generic card apps.

The AI is surprisingly competent. It doesn't just play randomly; it seems to hold onto power cards and react to your discards, which provides a genuine challenge even in single-player mode. The addition of daily goals is a smart inclusion, as it gives you a reason to log in every day beyond just climbing the leaderboard.

It’s a perfect 'gap game'—something you play while waiting for the bus or during a break. It's clean, it's fast, and most importantly, it's fun without being predatory. For card game aficionados, it's a must-install.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. I don't see the point in complicating simple things. Crazy Eights is a game for the back of a bus or a rainy cabin. Translating it to an app is fine, but this version feels like it's trying too hard with its 'modern' UI while neglecting the simple satisfaction of playing cards. The AI is predictable—once you've played ten rounds, you've seen every 'tactic' it has.

It’s a time-waster, nothing more. The animations are a bit too bouncy for my taste, and the sound effects get grating after five minutes. It works, it doesn't crash, and it follows the rules. If that's all you need, it's there. But don't expect a 'premium' experience from a game that’s essentially a digital pack of cards you'd find at a gas station.
