One of my favorite apps ever!
Sun Sep 22 2024 BalloonyTheDinoI love this app! It acts like an arsenal of tiny pinball machines, kept safely in my phone. The toys move slowly from easy to harder and all of the noises are very nice. It is so simple! This game shows that not all thing need to be flashy or super complicated to be fun. Most of the negative reviews seem to be either that some of the toys are too hard (some do take awhile) or that the reviewer did not notice the “in-app purchases” clause and assumed that it must be totally free. This game has no ads. For those who can’t afford the game there are three free toys. The rest costs $1.99. For such a high quality game this is a deal. It takes time and money to create a high quality game, and game developers need money in order to make more games (as well as needing money to buy food and stuff). This creator did not force ads on their players, gave away some of their content for free, and then asks for $1.99 for all the work they put in. This is a deal, especially where other game developers may turn this into a big money making scheme. This game is fun and a work of art. Great job, game creator! I can’t wait to see what you do next :)
Finding myself go from calming to frustrated as I play.
Fri Jul 21 2023 Leafz🍃First of all the game design is perfect! It’s really cool to see all the different types of automatoys (sorry I don’t know if I’m spelling it right) it’s very creative and fun to see how all the contraptions work and experiment what failed and what you could do better on next time. Also the bright colors make the setting feel light and happy! The little smiling face on the ball makes it 10x cuter as well. The sfx is also very good it’s satisfying to hear the clunks etc as the ball continues throughout the puzzles. My only problem is that I find myself at a point where I won’t move on to the next level until I’ve gotten 3 stars on my last one which causes a lot of frustration and this game is supposed to be calming. But I guess it’s my problem that I just have the pet peeve of not feeling satisfaction until I’ve done it perfectly but I just feel like it gets frustrating to know that you didn’t get to the expectations the game expected which makes you feel bad and you want to keep repeating it until you’ve finally exceeded the expectations. This makes you end up sitting there for hours playing that one level and then you finally realize how much time you’ve wasted just to continuously fail. Other than that the game is very calming, cute and great for passing time and getting your brain to exercise.
Very unique game
Sat Oct 21 2023 notnamiThe combination of cute graphics, amazing level design, good sound design, and super satisfying haptics make this game very unique, even if the concept seems strangely familiar at first. Absolutely worth the $2 the developers ask for to unlock all the levels. It can be frustrating in the later levels, but that's part of the fun once you eventually figure it out (you definitely have to replay some levels multiple times, especially if you want to get more stars).
Great design, only one in-app purchase to unlock all the levels, no obnoxious ads, no ridiculous monetization (I can think of a few ways the developers could let you cheat or pay to win) — I know the bar for mobile games is on the ground, but still, this game absolutely deserves the praise and what little of your money it asks for. 5 stars.
Take the money and run…
Fri Jan 03 2025 SDRangerWell, the 3 trial levels are incredibly easy, with the 3rd one slightly more difficult but still quite simple. Sensing this gradually increasingly-difficult dynamic, I just expected the remaining 20 or so machines would simply GRADUALLY increase in difficulty, giving me at least an hour or so of satisfying gameplay until the levels got too impossible to play. NOPE! As soon as I slapped down that $2.99, all the machines are then revealed, and the 4th puzzle is so far impossible to get even 1/5 the way through. I tried solving it at LEAST 30 times, and I endured the same frustrating end with all the other machines I randomly jumped to. The puzzles on the far right of the level-scroll bar are just ridiculously impossible. Where’s the fun in that? I guess this was made for 10 year olds who can pull this $### off with ease….or don’t mind attempting a machine 300 times until it just happens to work.
THE DEVELOPER should have made the 3 trial levels more accurately reflect this impossible game. I doubt I’ll ever play it again.
Enjoy the $2.99. I feel like I’ve been totally cheated here.
I’ll make a note of this developer, too. Won’t be getting MY $$$ ever again, this is a TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH!
This game made me write my first review
Thu Apr 06 2023 GrfjjchkvchidbkdfjkTo start, I don’t know why people are tripping over $2, you can buy a chocolate bar with that. I don’t see the problem??? You probably have that in loose change. If you dont have the money dont buy it. To be real it was a great spend this game is awesome I’ve had a phone since 2016 and I can’t complain about the mobile games I’ve played through the years. They were all really cool but nobody can beat Automatoys. This game is so simple yet so much fun. It literally makes you use your brain power and makes you focus. It’s strategic, adorable, stylish, simple, and fun! I absolutely adore this game. I love the little sounds and the comforting Lo-Fi music in the background. Its just awesome. I just wish there were more levels. Man do I hope you guys make more or make more game’s similar to this because it was a blast.
I sure hope there are additions to it!
Mon Jun 19 2023 April and DavidVery much have enjoyed this little puzzle/physics/whatever game. Definitely was worth the in-app purchase. Would make a second in-app purchase for additional levels. Very happy there are no in-app purchases for coins, gems, cheating, etc. One bug: On “level” 7, the user has to be more precise than they should probably have to be to get the ball to stick to one of the magnets on the “ferris wheel” at the beginning of the stage. Perhaps this was intentional but it contradicts how sticky the magnets in previous levels are. It may actually just be an adjustment in the perspective that is needed rather than the actual physics. I wish there were a way for me to gift Noah the ten year-old (another reviewer) the rest of the game. Thank you to the developer for their response.
Streamlined and satisfying game with no ad bloat!
Sun Jul 13 2025 ErinTheSecretAgentEI enjoyed my time playing through this game immensely. All of the little details in mechanics, haptic feedback making playing on mute extremely satisfying despite the lack of sound, the unique soundtracks matching the automated movement of each toy… not to mention the challenge and thrill of finding the best methods and timings for each one! Thank you for making this game ad free and not having any trackers. I will give down to earth and honest game devs all the love (and monetary support I can muster!) in the world. I’ll treasure Automatoys for a long time — it’s definitely going into my sparse Favorite App Games list — and can’t wait to get my friends to play it when we’re stuck on a train together!
Fun game, except for one thing
Tue Jan 03 2023 BoslawIt’s a fun game. The look, feel, and sound of it reminds me of games like Alphaputt, Perchang, Reky, and even Wonderputt. I like physics based games and this one is challenging enough without being impossible. A little practice, a couple of do-overs and you can get through each level. The one drawback is having to start over (on that level, not the whole game) each time you go off the contraption instead of starting where you left off. Especially the first time you attempt a new level. They get a bit more challenging as you go and there’s a lot of trial and error to figure out the new mechanics of each one, so having to start from the beginning of that level each time becomes frustrating, for me anyway. Enough so that I close it a lot sooner than I would otherwise. But I still enjoy the game.
Amazing game but one problem.
Wed Feb 01 2023 Noah (12) Please understandThis is a great game not gonna lie, and it has great graphics and no ads at all!, I love the music and, it’s great that the dev put care into this game, sadly theres 1 problem with it, now I get why they had to do this because they have to make money but seriously you can only do 3 levels and then you hit a pay wall, and I know this might not be a problem for people who have a lot of money, but kids like me who only have a moderate amount of money don’t have an allowance for this, if you can’t make it free at least make half of the game free so people can enjoy more, another thing if you could make an Automatoy maker that would be kinda epic!

Cute and Relaxing
Wed Jul 12 2023 Vix EnThis is ultimately a very cute game! It doesn’t have any particular things that irk me and it makes for a relaxing experience. I also enjoy the gameplay since I grew up playing with marble games like this, so it made for a comforting nostalgia trip. $2 for the rest of the game after the first 3 automatoys is not a bad price! However it feels like too little amount of gameplay even if you bought the rest. In total, (if I counted correctly) there are 10 automatoys. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have enough replay-ability for me to stay interested knowing the lack of automatoys to play with. To summarize, it leaves me wanting more. With that being said, I hope they can add more in the future!
