Sugar (Game) is the latest masterpiece of minimalism from the legendary Bart Bonte. If you've played his previous color-themed puzzles, you'll know exactly what to expect: a zen-like experience where the complexity slowly unfurls from a simple premise. The goal is to draw lines to guide falling sugar particles into cups. It sounds easy, but the way the sugar interacts with the physics of your lines—trickling and piling up—is incredibly soothing to watch.
With over 210 levels, the game keeps things fresh by introducing new mechanics, such as levels where you are erasing instead of drawing. The music is perfectly matched to the gameplay, creating a meditative atmosphere that makes the more difficult puzzles feel rewarding rather than frustrating. It's a free, polished, and beautifully designed experience that proves you don't need complex graphics to create a deeply engaging game. If you need a moment of calm in your day, this is the app to open.

Don't try to fill the cups all at once. Use your lines to create funnels and ramps that manage the 'flow' of the sugar. Sometimes a slow, steady trickle is better than a massive flood that might miss the target.
In later levels (150+), the mechanic shifts to erasing. You start with a screen full of sugar and must carefully delete pre-placed lines to let the sugar fall. Precision is key here; erasing the wrong line can cause the sugar to get stuck.
The game was created by Bart Bonte, known for his 'color' series and 'sugar, sugar' games.
