Can Knockdown 2 is the quintessential mobile game: it does one thing reasonably well and then asks you to do it a thousand times. The physics of the cans falling is genuinely impressive and satisfying to watch, which is the only reason to keep playing. The swipe controls are responsive, though they lack the nuance of a real throw.

There are a few game modes to break the monotony, but let's be honest, you're just hitting cans. It’s a mindless feedback loop designed for short bursts of play. It looks good and runs well, but it has all the depth of a puddle. If you’re a fan of simple high-score chasers, you’ll like it. If you want anything more, you'll be bored in twenty minutes.
