Dinsun Review

As a cat owner, I was hoping for something with a bit of the feline spirit. Instead, Cat Life Simulator is a standard 'BitLife' clone with some cat-themed minigames bolted on. You make binary choices—'Scratched the couch' or 'Meow for food'—and watch a progress bar move. It’s harmless, but it’s not particularly engaging for more than a half-hour.

The art is 'cutesy' in that generic mobile way that feels mass-produced. There are flashes of humor in the writing, but the game repeats itself far too quickly. It’s a distraction for kids, but anyone looking for a nuanced simulation of animal behavior will be disappointed. It’s more of an interactive storybook with very thin pages. Dinsun is not impressed.
