I really love this app it’s an awesome offline/ No-WiFi game! I love all of the silly characters and the normal characters and they way this game can be played. I also love the fact that you can buy the characters for basically a dollar. But not only that they are a dollar but that the special ones are only a slight bit more expensive. You barely even need WiFi for thing s except you can’t do the pecking order or watch ads like any other game. But there’s one things I don’t like and it’s that you can get duplicates but it’s not mainly that. The thing is that it’s perfectly fine to get duplicates but usually you can do things with them. But in this game you just wasted 100 coins which can be hard to get when you have no WiFi since there are no ads available. But otherwise this game is a 10/10 no WiFi game! And if you are reading this to see if you should get the game you should definitely get this game! It’s awesome and super fun to play. But warning: you might rage. It seems hard at first but you get the hang of it. Oh and one last thing that I don’t really like is that you need WiFi t ok play the pecking order. But the thing I also like about pecking order is that you can get awesome gifts like coins! Thank you Crossy road! You guys are amazing and super smart for making this app! I’ve had this on every device other than my laptop! It’s so much fun! And the eagle is also super creative. Thank you guys. But please respond to this. Hope this review wasn’t to long. I made it shorter than it was planned.

★★★★★ Unique but Fun game!

Out of all of the mobile games I’ve played, this one is probably the best. It’s very simple yet very fun to play. Collecting and trying to beat your high score is always fun and reminds me of older arcade style games from the 1990s. The map designs are very polished and nice to look at and is a great detail the creators added, as it could have just been the same old thing just with different characters. The characters are great too. The death scenes are funny while being light hearted which makes them great for children! I love how each character has a corresponding map designed specifically for that character. Even the sound design of the game is enjoyable, although there is no actual music. It’s the little details that matter, some cooler details such as being able to collect items when playing certain characters even though this feature doesn’t contribute to much, it’s once again still a cool detail. One last thing, the game modes. They are quite cool. I love the fact that the game gives you daily level and special prizes depending on what place you get. The multiplayer is also cool but I’ve never used it myself. Overall, I would give this simple yet fun game a 10/10. I love how it challenges you not physically but mentally so you can get as far as you can into a level. Great game, 10/10 would recommend! Thank you for reading.

Ok don’t get me wrong, I ♡LOVE♡ this game and it’s super fun (I would definitely recommend it). I love all the different characters you can get! There are so many of them and I love how different characters have like different map thingies. BUT the thing I wanna say is that I think that the duplicate thing is really stupid. I know eventually you will get a new character and that I suppose it kinda just makes it more challenging but you are also making us waste time and we just lose our coins and also, instead of paying 200 coins to spin again or 500 the next time l, just make it 100 to spin again. Like I mean ya, you creator dudes deserve to be paid for making such an incredible game, but I think the amount of ads you have to watch just to get a single new character is a wee bit much, you know? Especially if I’ve been saving up my coins for a while and I wanna spend all at once. It would be really nice if we could get a new character every time (because sometimes you don’t get a new character at all because as you get more and more characters the percentage of you getting a new one drops even after watching two ads) and the first time or at least after just ✨ONE✨ad. I doubt you guys will read this but if you do PLEEEAAASSSE fix this in your next update or I will have to keep WASTING my coins tryna get a new character. Thank you. :) (I doubt y’all will read this but if you do plz plz PLZ change this in your next update because it is really annoying for me and I’m sure all users of the game.)

The good part: AMAZING game. Wonderful to play if you only have a few minutes. It isn’t confusing. There aren’t challenges to remember; just a simple yet exciting game. There isn’t an end, so you can get better and better. Every once and a while there is an ad after you die, but there aren’t the annoying banner style ones at the top and bottom to accidentally press. I love the “At Home” characters lol. The chicken with slippers is so cute. My goal is to unlock the toothbrush 🪥. The bad part: I really can’t think of anything I dislike about the game. Some people might not like the simplicity of the game. If you’re a person who loves action games with challenges, this might not be for you. Suggestions for Hipster Whale 🐳: 1. When you get a coin prize in Pecking Order, maybe the people who are super high on the scoreboard should get more coins 🪙 in their box. Ive gotten a score of 14 and gotten ~100 coins. Another time I scored in the hundreds and got hardly any coins. So basically what I am saying, is don’t randomize the boxes; the more jumps you’ve scored, the more coins you should get. 2. Maybe add a character category for the Chickens, so that when I want to find a chicken, I don’t have to scroll through all the categories to find a specific chicken. 🐓 Thank you for reading edit: I got the toothbrush yay!

This is a good game to use without Internet and with Internet me and my friend play this game together and we have so much fun. We try to beat each other high scores. We also race in the two player game. I love collecting new characters although collecting new characters is fun, in my opinion it’s annoying when you get a duplicate I don’t think people should get a duplicate because you know they save up all this money just to get something that they don’t want that happened to me twice in a row this day and obviously I’m not gonna be really mad at it because it’s just a game but I suggest taking out the duplicates. Next this game is really fun. I know I’ve said that a lot, but it’s true. One thing about this game is it doesn’t seem like a game that would have ads but it does. I think taking out the ads would be a nice way just to play and have lots of fun me and my friend play and when we play an ad pop up and he’s like hey can I try with your phone and I’m like hang on I’m in an ad so yeah I wish you could take out the ads. Next one thing about this game that I really love is the characters I especially love getting different kinds of chickens like Pac-Man chickens at home chicken classic chicken obviously some of them. I’m still trying to collect so let’s hope I get some soon, but I think all the characters you have in there are good and have lots of thought into them, although I’d rather have animals than people still think this game has really good characters. My go to character is probably classic chicken just because it’s easy and there’s no distractions going on in the course. That’s just my opinion though. Thank you, Crossy Road. 🐓🚙

I like this app a lot it’s really fun the only thing about it is that it goes a little bit too fast for me but if you’re like somebody who likes fast games or likes to go really fast it would be a great app for you and it has some bugs but I think the new update is going to really fix that yeah so I really like this app and it’s really fun and my top is 69 and it’s actually really nice and you can win different prizes for just playing the game and that is really nice so you don’t have to buy anything you can buy different levels and stuff but I don’t really see the need to do that because you could just earn up by playing the game so why would you buy something if you could just do it for free and so I really like it and But if you don’t like fast games I think it would not be as fun and he would try a little bit harder to get it and yeah and you really get to Do you different characters like the witch or the pig or the chicken or any of them it’s not just the chicken on there it’s different levels different types different all of this stuff and it’s really nice to just express you buy your character or you’re setting of where you want to play your Crossy Road and I really like that there’s a river there’s a train there’s grasslands you can get coins treated and that there’s a hawk that goes if you don’t use it all so it’s actually really nice and I love this thank you

★★★★★ Duplicates, Really?

I recently started playing Crossy Road again because of how nostalgic it was. The game is simplistic and fun; you collect characters and hop around to beat your former highscore. I’m not sure if this was a recent development or if it has always been in the game, but having duplicates is exceedingly frustrating. Although it doesn’t take a long time collecting 100 coins, whenever you go to the slot machine you expect to have a new character added to your collection. The key word is expect, but I’ve learned you shouldn’t. As your collection increases the higher chance you have to get a duplicate. You have three options; waste your 100 coins and not get a character, pay 200 coins initially to have a higher chance to get a new character (not guaranteed and as you try again and again the price increases at stupid amounts), or watch five ads. Something I’ve learned about the chances increasing for getting a new character is that it is a completely broken system. You will have to have at least 80% chance to have a new character (paying 1000 something coins and watching four ads) and sometimes when you reach 100%, you still don’t get it. It might be a bug on only my phone, but it’s like my phone is slow, it’s the newest IPhone in top condition. So this bug is most definitely the app. It’s such a shame how a good and relaxing game turned into an ad swamp that holds you back from the entire point of the game. I miss old Crossy Road, but I do understand they need to profit from the game to keep it up and running. Duplicates, though, is not the answer.
