Piffle+ in Apple Arcade

Piffle+ is basically what happens when you take a classic block-breaker and inject it with a massive dose of caffeine and kitten videos. It’s incredibly charming. The art style is everything you’d expect from Hipster Whale—chunky, colorful, and instantly readable. While the 'shoot and bounce' mechanic is nothing new, the level of polish here makes it feel fresh. The physics are consistent, and there’s a genuine satisfaction in seeing a well-aimed shot result in 50+ bounces.

What sets the Plus version apart is the pacing. Without the energy gates or ad-breaks typical of free-to-play puzzle games, you can really get into a 'flow state.' It’s the perfect 'one more level' game for your commute. My only minor gripe is that the difficulty can spike unexpectedly on certain levels, but with the power-ups you earn, nothing feels impossible. It’s a delightful, cozy little time-sink that I keep coming back to.
