Love the game, would like better monitoring of ads
Sat Jun 15 2024 BerthaBlue27Game is exactly as described, fun, updated frequently, new stuff often to keep it interesting. You never “have to” watch ads, but you get a lot of freebies if you do. I play ads on my phone while typing up reports on my laptop, it works well and prevents me from getting distracted by other things.
My only complaint is that some of the ads are getting long, like 60 seconds for the first part of the ad, a 5-second tap-through screen, 15 seconds for the second part of the ad, another 5-second tap through screen. A lot that have dark advertising practices like fake “X” buttons. I wish there was a “report this ad” feature in the apps, because I’d rather force-quit and restart than piddle about trying to do a screen capture or recording. 30 second ads and easy exit is pretty standard these days.
Game is too expensive to enjoy!
Mon Mar 31 2025 mbellio69I’ve played this game for a couple of years, I spent thousands of dollars the first year. I have spent $40 this past year. Unless you spend you can’t find momentum to grow and build your ships. For the beginners, it’s an affordable game, once you get more ships, that’s what changes. The insane amount of cost to level up and merge mini ships is unattainable. In my two years I have only been able to merge a mini ships once to a F2 level. And that mini ship is only halfway to max. I have enjoyed the game in the past, but now its appeal is much less. The amount of cheating from hackers is a constant issue. If only the game allowed for better star, hero badge and puzzle rewards within the game at scale, you could actually build and see your ships skills progress. You can only go so far in the game until you have to merge ships. Biggest complaint is that it takes forever to collect puzzle pieces of any consistency that really matters to have opportunities to progress mini ships to higher levels. Unless you spend $300 -$500 during the 4X sales to buy enough puzzle pieces to barely advance. I would give this a higher rating, but the shear cost, is way too high. Better places to spend your hard earned money. I could have purchased a nice used car for what I’ve spent.
Game went from really good to absolute trash.
Thu Apr 11 2024 Zia GamingWell, this game USED to be really fun. However, I logged into it today after not playing for several months due to IRL issues. When I came back, a LOT has changed, and not for the better. I can deal with most of these changes, but taking away my favorite ship is unacceptable. I don’t even see it on the list anymore. This used to be my favorite shooter style game. So good, as a matter of fact, that it was the only game of this style on my phone. But after about a half hour of seeing all the changes (especially the loss of my favorite ship), not only is it not my favorite shooter game, it’s not even on my phone anymore. It’s quite disappointing that this game has gone so far downhill. All that time and money I spent on this game is all down the drain. So much for those 3+ years I have been playing. What a waste. Sad when a good game turns into an absolute trash game. Anyhow, as much as I hate to say it, I will no longer be playing this one and will be looking for a new one to play. I am super bummed about what has happened to this game. Went from being super fun to nothing more than a cash grab.
Oh… And there’s no sense telling me to contact them on their Facebook page. I tried that more times than I can count, and not only did I not get a reply, my messages were never even seen by their “support team”.

Tue Aug 29 2023 TdtownThe developers comment that you don’t have to pay anything because you can watch videos. You could literally watch videos 24/7 for 10 years and you still wouldn’t be able to merge ships. The copy and paste response’s should be enough to show people that read reviews this is a cash grab scam that can cost thousands which is ridiculous for any game you play for fun. Even after spending 100$s you will hit a paywall and have to spend a LOT of money just to beat the campaign. The ads are worthless giving 10k when it cost millions to to upgrade a ship to the max.
This game is a scam. every purchase is misleading, the game makes you think you can upgrade your ship if you get enough materials but you will not be able to, one $20 purchase is not going to do anything, the game does not tell you how many levels you need to level up, it makes you think once you obtain items you are able to upgrade, but that is not the case. This game is definitely not made for children, my child spent hundreds of dollars before telling me he wasn’t getting what he paid for. I attempted to play the game to see if maybe he was doing something wrong but it’s just straight up false advertising and the customer support was no help. They did not even acknowledge my refund request. Stay far far away from this game.
Crashes frequently, lags constantly

Apart from that, the game also lags constantly (they’ll no doubt blame it on your internet, but that’s bogus). Once you get to a certain level, unless you want to spend a LOT of money to buy ships, coins, gems, etc, you aren’t going to get very far in the game. Great graphics and the game play is enjoyable, which is the only reason I gave it two stars. [UPDATE] Just updated the app, and now all of the extra games and events are GONE from the left side of the screen. That was pretty much the ONLY way to get ahead!! Downgrading to ONE star! [UPDATE 2] Now the things are back. Just goes to show that the game is still full of bugs. [UPDATE 3] Your developers know FULL WELL that no one will get very far in the game without spending money, so stop telling people they don’t have to spend money to fully enjoy the game. In fact, even AFTER spending money, you will not get very far unless you plan to buy numerous ships and pay to upgrade them. Your developers KNOW this, so stop saying otherwise. Also, I upgraded your app and it STILL crashes frequently when watching ads. It usually crashes from the Candy Crush ad. Enough is enough! I’m going back to playing Angry Birds!
Fun game but progressing will cost $$$

That is short lived unfortunately. I am on the 2nd planet in the campaign and the Vulture ship I upgraded to level 25 and 13 rate of fire is complete trash. It’s clear that in order to progress I need to merge ships. The materials to merge ships cost real money. At this rate my guess is you spend like $50 on 1 ship and it will be trash before you leave the solar system. Who knows how much it will cost to upgrade it after that? My other issue is that you can accidentally switch to other ships you’ve unlocked but don’t want to use. Those ships might be un-upgraded or worse they’re just trash or both! There is no way to turn off the ship switching power ups. Worse is in order to unlock some ships it costs money then it will be trash before you’ve progressed very far. I’m at the point where it costs real money to upgrade ships and I don’t want to find out the costs. Most of the ships I have were earned in game but the one that I bought turned out to be disappointing. I don’t play much mobile games but if it’s pay to progress I’m our.
Terrible Support(restore purchases button asap)
Thu Jul 02 2020 NimirRajWhen attempting to sync my progress from the iPad version to the iPhone version I lost almost my ships including mini ships for some unknown reason as it retained my vip rank, campaign progress, and pvp history. I lost ships you only get from playing pvp(wakanda), those ships & mini ships unlocked by watching videos, and ships & mini ships I bought with money which is the biggest thing as I spent actual cash to get these ships. Thankfully despite their records incorrectly saying the account was relatively new(they were skeptical as to how I had certain ships requiring play time or pvp experience due to my supposed account creation date) the support technician I spoke with managed to restore/unlock all my main ships(not any of my mini ships or the upgrades to my ships sadly). Then when I opened the app on a different device(iPad) it synced that versions across both devices(iPhone & iPad) erasing everything they’d managed to restore essentially putting me back at square 1. I apologized for wasting their time after saying it’d been erased again...then they replied saying they hoped I enjoyed the game more going further. Money and time down the drain apparently as it seems like those things are lost forever. I’m never playing this game again.
Scam/Fraud/Lies
Wed Dec 20 2023 AKDeReggeI’ve been playing this game for about 2 years and I have never felt such deceit! So many lies about all these ships/mini ships/equipment/ and so much more. This game has by far the worst developers, admins, all of the management is full of lies. They take all your money for a product that is very powerful and expensive and wait a few months or so until they see how many players have purchased it, then reduce the power by over 50% and you never see your money back. They keep saying “bugs fixed” in each update but actually it’s the opposite. The ads are unbelievably long and useless. They keep saying you can progress in the game without having to pay but that is yet another ONGOING LIE! Everything they say is a lie. A manipulation to get you to keep spending money on misleading products! It’s full of scams and straight fraud!! 1soft and all the management of this game are a bunch of crooks! We keep having to submit our reviews here and in Google and next thing you know it It’s erased. This is a problem that desperately needs to be fixed!!!!! I and many others will keep posting reviews until these issues have been resolved!!!!

Love the game but totally pay or lose
Sat Aug 10 2024 BillypeaPlay is great but NOT. You are matched unfairly vs other ships with more than 3x your power. The player who pays the most, wins the most. You can’t win, or progress without mega $$$$.
It has NOTHING to do with skill. Zero. I’ve been playing for 6+ months and watch multiple ads every day. Often the ads are a minute and require 3 clicks to get through. Every day.
If you pay ($29 minimum to get you started with ONE decent ship…+ infinite amounts for multiple levels of upgrades, more ships, mini ships, equipment, bonuses, weapons, currencies, etc. You find out too late that there are just a few ships, out of the 60+ available, that can actually win. And then there are 8 kinds of required in-game currencies (coins, red gems, hero badges, silver badges, topaz, sapphire, silver card, platinum card…. (just look for a minute at the buy-ins) pay a lot and you will win. Maybe. Plus a multitude of other in-game things you need to buy (bombs,shields, multipliers, ships, mini ships, weapons, equipment, characters … it seems to never stop) Minimum hundreds of USD. If you don’t pay, you will lose. Delete it now and save yourself the frustration.

Wed Jun 05 2024 ChezChefieIt’s a great game if you don’t mind dropping a couple of grand to get a ship strong enough to not spend 37 waves in a row trapped in the bottom right hand corner while crazy jumpy aliens are duking fire on your head. They do offer gems and prizes generously by watching ads, but half your game play is spent watching ads and by that time, the battery is on 22 percent. I have been stuck multiple times because my once great ship is now a weakling because literally in one level I go from kicking alien tail to having to hit a target 87 times just to bring it to half life. Overall it’s super fun in the first couple of levels, but then it gets to the point you have to invest serious real life cash to level up. If you don’t have an addictive personality and can walk away from things easily, this is the game for you. If you are ocd, stubborn, and refuse to walk away from a challenge, then get a second job to support your habit of this game. LOL
3 stars because yes it’s fun. But also be prepared to rip clumps of hair out in frustration.
