Dinsun Review
I've seen the 'bean-person-falling' genre explode lately, and Goober Dash is the 2D answer to that. It's fine for what it is, but don't expect deep platforming. The physics are intentionally slippery—which I find more annoying than charming. It's one of those games where half your 'wins' feel like you just got lucky with the collision box, and half your 'losses' feel like the game just decided you were done.
That said, the level editor is surprisingly competent. If you enjoy the 'Mario Maker' style of community content, there's a lot to see here. But for a 40-year-old gamer like me who values precision, this 'wacky chaos' gets old fast. It’s loud, it’s messy, and the monetization for skins is exactly what you’d expect from a free-to-play mobile title. It’s not offensive, just mediocre.
