High Risers doesn't try to be anything it isn't. It’s a one-button game designed for when you have exactly two minutes to kill. The loop is simple: jump, turn, jump higher. It requires just enough rhythm and timing to keep you engaged without being stressful.
Is it deep? No. Will you be playing it in a month? Probably not. But for a free-to-play arcade game, it’s remarkably honest. The ads aren't too intrusive, and the unlocks are purely cosmetic. It’s the kind of game that would have been a hit on a Nokia phone twenty years ago, and it still works today. It’s competent, clean, and mildly addictive. Sometimes that’s all you need.
