I loved the challenge
Thu May 29 2025 AmchopUpdate: Don’t let anyone tell these games are unbeatable! I made it to level 200 not even 15 days later w/o using any of the coins I won(9250), nor using any power ups after starting over. It’s much more fun playing this way!
This game is so fun if you love the fact that there is always a solution! I have limited myself to only beating the levels while not using the boost options. I started off playing that way, but I realized it much more fun trying to win without them. So I erased my progress in the game and started over to experience the full effect of my problem solving alone. Best game I’ve ever played!
No way to win
Fri Apr 11 2025 1956CatsThis was a fun game until I got to level 108. There is no way for me to pass this level. Too many bombs; not enough time; you earn 20 coins for passing a level (40 if you watch an ad) but it costs 900 coins to continue a level instead of starting over. If you need more time it’s 1900 coins!!! And No - I AM NOT PAYING REAL MONEY FOR MORE COINS TO CONTINUE.
Why don’t you have an option to skip a level? I’d pay a reasonable amount of coins (NOT 900!) to skip a level. Right now I’m stuck. Can’t pass the level; running out of coins; can’t skip the level - so what do I do? Delete the game is my only option here. Then what? Reload and start over to do the same 108 levels before I get stuck again?? It took me 3 days to get to level 108. At that rate I’ll have to delete and reload twice a week just to play the same levels all the time. I have games that I’ve been playing for YEARS without this problem. Certainly you can find a way to fix this to make the game more enjoyable for everyone. I’m not holding my breath waiting for changes; thanks for listening anyway.
Good concept, definitive end
Mon Sep 01 2025 Smfplayer1I like the concept. The game is fun and involves some strategy and planning. Some levels get tough and you need power ups to get through them. Then you get to level 166. I’ve been stuck on this level for days. I can usually find tricks to be able to beat these levels, but this one absolutely cannot be defeated without power ups, and I’m out.
The issue I have with this game is the tired old tactics that are still being used in these games. You get a certain amount of lives. They take forever to generate, and once you run out, all you can do is pay or wait. Why is this considered a good idea? Money is made every time an ad plays, but it’s considered a better idea to stop the player from playing. There’s also no way to build coins or power ups except for winning levels. So eventually, you have to pay money. In usually willing to support the developer by paying once or twice, a small amount for a game that I’ve played long enough to say I enjoy it. However these prices are too high, especially for the reward. At this point I just hope there is a knockoff like so often happens, but with a more reasonable developer.
Interesting Concept but Ads are a bit insane
Fri Nov 14 2025 dannyj611The game is fun and it’s a good way to waste time and actually requires a little bit of thinking and strategy. There is one gripe that I have and I’m seeing it more and more in these types of games:
At the end of a level, you are presented with the options to claim the rewards or watch an ad to get 2x rewards. Almost every time I click the normal rewards option, I still get an ad. I get you have to monetize a free game BUT if you are giving users the choice of watching an ad or not, make it an actual choice. There are some times I don’t have the time to watch an ad or I’m not in an environment where I can let an ad play. Also, please make sure the ads respect your volume controls. There have been countless times an ad played and even though I had my phone on silent the ads still blasted its nonsense at full volume.
Disappointing but fantastic idea
Thu May 15 2025 WhizKid9Really thought this would be different from other puzzle or strategy games; however, support is non-existent and the glitches mandate spending money. Normally, I’ll avoid using boosters or coins (in any game) unless absolutely necessary. “Hole People” developers have created a glitch on specific levels (screen record as proof) to force players to use boosters or coins to pass a level. I don’t mind attempting to pass a level several (25+) times when I believe it can be completed through simple logic. Unfortunately, the game is rigged and I’ve noticed variations on how the level can be passed (how many people actively escape via the hole). The earning coins upon level completion is disproportionate to say the least, which slows progression. Support never replied after contacting them. Rollic Games should do better; I’ll avoid them in the future.
Needs Difficulty Logic Update
Mon Dec 22 2025 lostmsgs1234567The game is fine. My issue is I’m looking for a challenging puzzle. I just finished a “very hard” level and I passed it just by tapping on the only available color options. Maybe levels are mis labeled, but if it’s going to be a hard level I need to fail it, or have to put SOME thought. This was level 59.
The game mechanics also need to be looked at. The UFO power up says beat the level on the first try to get a power up. I failed the level on the first try (on purpose) beat the level on the next attempt. Then on the next level I get a free power up. But this wasn’t the first try. (If you want people to spend money don’t make the game so easy and don’t freely give power ups that make it even easier (now on 98 hoping it will get tougher at some point).
Amazingly original game!
Sun Apr 06 2025 JBDonlevyLet’s face it, with the deluge of games that are in the App Store it’s really hard to find one that’s original. But Hole People completely delivers on originality and fun gameplay! It’s the most original play on “filling the buses” that I’ve ever seen. It’s fun and challenging & I love the way the little people are put in to the holes with the spaceship. 🤭 The game is well thought out and cleverly designed with great graphics. I highly recommend this game if you want something original and if you like the “fill the bus” type of games. I would give this game 10 stars, which I VERY rarely do, if I could! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Fun w A Couple of Issues
Thu Jul 10 2025 IveyMcKFirst of all, I am loving this game. It’s fun and addictive. Graphics are good and the vibrancy is great.
I have 2 issues at this time, which are the only impediments to a 5 star rating.
First, I made an in-app purchase that I paid for but did not get credited to my game account. No boosts or coins in the purchase package.
I used the chat option in support to reach out for assistance but the chat bot left me hanging unresolved. No more responses.
The app says that all levels are winable without using boosts, but the upper “hard levels” are killer! I do like that it is challenging and is not mundane at all. I like the fact that it is challenging and relaxing at the same time. I hope to remedy my purchase issue and can give a better rating.
