Dinsun Review
I’ve spent half my life in tech, and another chunk of it avoiding the kind of places this game simulates. I Am Security tries to capture the grind of being a bouncer, but it quickly devolves into a repetitive loop of 'click on the ID' and 'click on the contraband.' There’s no real depth to the decision-making; the criteria are binary and rarely interesting. The combat is particularly egregious—it feels like a low-budget mobile fighter from ten years ago.
Like many of Estoty's other titles, this is an ad-delivery vehicle first and a game second. Every few patrons, you're hit with a video. You can play offline to avoid them, but the fact that the game is designed around these interruptions is a mark against it. It's a decent time-waster if you're standing in a real-life queue, but as a gaming experience, it’s shallow. It lacks the soul and narrative weight of the games it clearly draws inspiration from.
