Dinsun here. Iβve seen my share of 'retro-inspired' shooters, and frankly, most of them use the term as an excuse for lack of content. Jupiter Attack falls squarely into that trap. The mechanics are functional, but thereβs no hook. No progression, no variety, just a repetitive loop that feels like a programming exercise rather than a finished product. It captures the look of the 80s but forgets the challenge and tight design that made those games worth the quarters.
