Focus on 1 crab if you are F2p
Wed Feb 17 2021 RialcmI play on iPhone SE 2016 At first I was ready to uninstall the game because of how fast it drained my batteries but this was pretty much solved by changing graphics from mid to low. After you get past the quick tutorial of this game you get put into a battle against other players, what u donโt know is that this sort of easy noob arena where you can easily become king crab continues until you reach a certain rank, after that you suddenly find your self in the arena with the strong players and you will keep dying to what you would call Pay 2 win players. A lot of people say that the game is pay 2 win, yes there are consumable boosts like โfaster growthโ and โmagneticโ. spenders would definitely have a lot of these. But The mega and legendary crabs and the upgrade points for the crabs are not pay 2 win, these are fairly easy to obtain as a F2p by simply playing the game and climbing the ranks / completing quests for gacha spins. Upgrade points are rotated in the shop. Hereโs what I recommend, if u are going to be F2P you must focus all your attention on and main 1 crab. That 1 crab will gain levels as you play, each level represents 1% growth to your crab, so letโs say your crab is level 80, it will enter the game at 80% growth. All your earned pearls you would spend them on buying upgrade points from the shop rotation and soon you have your self a crab that easily competes with the pay 2 win.

๊One of the best games I have on my phone, but, it feels a little limited, perhaps more game modes? Like a friend only mode, where it is a mode you can only play with friends, like a private server in a way! Or predators all out, a game mode with TONS of predators, like sharks, crocodiles, and seagulls. I also appreciate the amount of crabs they have, with lesser known crabs like spanner crabs, elbow crabs, and vampire crabs, with fictional species like the robot crab, demon crab, alien crab, and Dino crab, they even have the Atlantic lobster and mantis shrimp as playable โcrabsโ! So the sheer amount of characters is very nice, the crabs I listed are only half of the crabs that are playable! Now, if you are planning to download this game, which crabs should you get? Well, I have your back! The hermit crab can heal itself, which is useful if something is attacking you, the yeti crab literally slams the ground like King Kong or something, the damage is crazy, the blue crab, although being a beginner crab, has a useful ability, it can freeze enemies! And the Atlantic Lobster can become temporarily gigantic and stronger, allowing you to put up a fight with bigger players and enemies, so those are crabs I recommend based on experience, in short, I love this game so much! And I think you should download it!

Alien crab ability is way too op
Wed Mar 25 2020 maxx osorioI recently got Robot Crab from crab grab (yay finally I get a crab that is mega rare or higher) and Iโve nearly maxed its hp with a little points in damage, in game Iโm max growth and I attack an alien crab. It than proceeds to use its ability and kill me in seconds. What? That is so busted. I understand that itโs a legendary but Robot Crab has an average-pretty bad ability, why does alien crab get to have such a busted ability? (To be fair Robot crab is new so itโs ability will probably be buffed in some way, another thing I would like to see as itโs easy to avoid) This is not the only time, Iโve constantly been killed by alien crabs that use their abilityโs and run off knowing that the little aliens do way to much damage and there is too much of them. I really like the way this game is going. And if alien crab gets an ability nerf it would fix an issue, also I notice not much people write about alien crab ability because they have bought it and theyโre using it to kill way too much stuff so yeah. Btw if issues that most people are suggesting to be fixed/added back in (friendly mode Iโm looking at you) than Iโm positive that I will give a five star review as this game is really fun and worth the grind! (a while ago I got lobster from trophies reward, I took a break and Iโm back)

Great customer support, my favorite game
Thu Jan 21 2021 SerenitysoulCRI have been playing this game for years, I absolutely love it. Unlike most games, there are NO ADS unless you want to watch them to get prizes & in my opinion this is by far the best way to get people to not hate ads. You have to work your way up but you can do it & you can make friends to help you along the way. I had a misunderstanding on my part (I thought it was on their part originally), so I emailed them not expecting much back bc most big app developers donโt care....well the next day I received a response from them. A very detailed response that made me realize the mistake was on my part but they were very kind about it. I was so appreciative of the response and the support I received, it just made me love this game even more. I have spent money on this game when they have deals bc I believe this game is very valuable, detailed, so well made, and the developers should be compensated for their hard work and dedication. I am amazed that this app is free but I am grateful bc I rarely pay for something on the App Store before I know if I will enjoy it or not. Thank you so much to the developers. This should definitely be the number one app/game.

Mon Sep 07 2020 PeterSakeIโve never written a review for any game.... ever... usually after to many ads or canโt progress without spending actual dollars, which I would never spend on any game, I delete. This game Iโve had since the beginning and LOVE IT. Love the crabs and their special abilities, the stupid hats are ridiculously awesome and a must have, the idea behind this game is great...( Great job Robot Squid , shouts out to you guys ) Love that you can get coins by watching a add , or pearl or XP points ( the magnet is the best ) without spending actual dollars. It does take a long time to progress without spending hours playing but thatโs the point yโall . If the game was too short would have nothing to work for. Some games never update but this one does not disappoint. I hope Robot Squid keeps doing that by adding more crabs , skins , hats and would be awesome if there were different islands but canโt be easy for a indie game so completely understand , it takes time , so Robot Squid thatโs your homework , keep it coming yโall !!!! ( More weapons would also be dope, thinking katana sword ..... on fire )

Alien Crab
Thu Apr 20 2023 FUNFRIEKThis game is awesome! I love all of the little details added to this game. One thing Iโm suggesting for season five is a buff to the flying alien pet, I named him Jeff and I love him, but heโs only kinda useful in the early stages of the round. So I would like it if you had to kill a thing with a certain amount of health or you have to do an amount of damage for the flying alien pet to spawn. Another thing is I wish for the alien crabs babies and the flying alien pet, I wish they didnโt kinda die and drop meat after a period of time so the alien babies and flying alien pet are more long-lasting and accessible, talking about the meat they drop, I love that the meat is green when you die as the alien crab and when you kill one. But, how come the flying alien pet and alien babies donโt drop green meat? I would love if the flying alien pet and alien babies would drop green meat, I think it adds a nice touch to the alien crab. All of these would be wonderful if you added them to season five and they would be appreciated

Really fun but no instructions
Fri Jul 19 2019 Bot BTWI love this game, ive only had it for a couple of hours. There needs to be a tutorial though, as it just drops you in with no explication. Still, its not that complex and i got the hang of it after a few games.
Basically what you do is kill other crabs to feed yourself to become bigger and stronger. After a while your health starts to decrease by itself, so you need to eat constantly. You have a blue meter underneath your health bar. You tap the screen two times then press against the screen to dash. There is a mini map in the corner of the screen which shows you where other crabs are. An X represents a player and a crab icon represents an NPC that you can still kill to eat. You can pick up weapons and shields which help you attack more easily. There are also weapon or coin crates that spawn in predetermined locations across the map that you need to attack to open. You can see these crates on the mini map (which you can tap to make the map larger)

Fun for a bit, but needs new content
Fri Dec 27 2019 phaeton1073This is a great idea, a really fun game. However, a few issues.
Control and Overlay: The latest update with the huge control buttons needs to go away. There is way too much screen real estate to the turbo and buddy buttons. Please either disable or give option to remove. Perhaps only make it visible when the large map is on?
New content: The crabs are aging. Iโve been playing for a few months and I have nothing to look forward to - Iโve maxed out the rank, and have nothing left. Add more crabs and perhaps some bonus content for long time players so stars donโt matter.
Fairness: the new players coming in have no safe place to play, since the simple mode is gone. You wonโt retain new players if they get dumped into battle mode with new crabs and others, like me, have maxed out coconut crabs, that are able to wipe them out in two hits. I do love the new size of the X to indicate crab size, so it helps me only target larger crabs. However, since the rate of health loss is so fast when youโre big, sometimes I have to kill whatever is around to eat.
