I appreciate a game that knows what it is and doesn't try to hide behind flashy graphics. Last Pocket is a pure logic exercise. You move planks, you aim for the bounce, and you hope the physics engine doesn't decide to act up. It’s a good distraction for a 10-minute wait, but it doesn't have the 'hook' that keeps you coming back for more once you've seen the 10 core elements. The minimalist aesthetic is a double-edged sword; it’s clean, but it also feels a bit like a prototype that never got its final coat of paint.
The level design starts strong but begins to lean too heavily on trial and error rather than pure deduction in the later stages. Portals and sawblades add some much-needed spice, but I found myself solving levels by accident more often than I’d like. It’s functional, it’s fair, and it’s forgettable. If you’re a puzzle purist, you’ll find some value here, but it’s not going to redefine the genre for you.
