Dinsun here. I’ve seen plenty of these 'one-tap' platformers come and go, and Mr. Crab 2 is exactly what you'd expect from a polished mobile sequel. It looks great—the lighting and character animations are a step up—but the gameplay remains shallow. You’re essentially just timing jumps on a cylinder. It’s functional, but it lacks the precision I look for in a serious platformer.
The level design tries to be clever with branching paths, but it often feels like you're just being funneled toward the exit. It’s fine for a quick distraction, but don't expect it to hold your attention if you value mechanical complexity or a significant challenge. It feels built for a younger audience or the most casual of players, which is fine, but it doesn't move the needle for me.
