Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 takes everything that made the first chapter a viral sensation and turns it up to eleven. Moving from the small factory floor to the massive 'Game Station' makes the world feel much more dangerous and expansive. The new antagonist, Mommy Long Legs, is a terrifying upgrade—her elastic movement and high-pitched, mocking voice are genuinely unsettling.
The puzzles have also seen a massive upgrade. The GrabPack’s new electrical and swinging abilities are utilized in clever, often heart-pounding ways. The 'minigames' you're forced to play are highlights, turning classic playground games into deadly survival trials. It’s a masterclass in modern indie horror that balances atmosphere, lore, and 'jump-scare' tension perfectly. If you survived Chapter 1, you haven't seen anything yet.
I’m generally tired of the 'mascot horror' trend, but Poppy Playtime at least tries to have interesting mechanics. The GrabPack puzzles are genuinely clever, and Chapter 2 introduces enough new wrinkles—like the green hand for power storage—to keep it from feeling like a retread. Mommy Long Legs is a more effective antagonist than Huggy Wuggy was in the first chapter, primarily because of the psychological 'games' she forces you into.
The mobile port is surprisingly decent, though the precise movements needed for some of the chase sequences are a nightmare on a touchscreen. My main gripe is the length. For something that costs money, you’re looking at maybe two hours of content. It’s a quality experience, but as someone who values 'bang for buck,' it’s a tough pill to swallow. Still, it’s one of the few horror games on the store that actually feels like a 'game' rather than just a jump-scare delivery system.
Performance: Some texture pop-in and frame rate drops in larger factory rooms. High battery drain.
Buy if: You enjoyed Chapter 1 and want more mechanical complexity in your horror puzzles.
Skip if: You want a long game or can't stand mascot-based horror.

In the Musical Memory minigame, focus on the colors and symbols. If you miss a sequence, Bunzo Bunny will descend faster. Speed and accuracy are key to survival!
It is highly recommended to play Chapter 1 to understand the story and the basic GrabPack mechanics.
