I’m all for education, but calling this a 'game' is a bit of a stretch. It’s a digital tutor with a cat skin. You look at a note, you tap the screen when the bar hits it. It’s effective, sure—if you spend an hour with this, you’ll probably understand quarter notes better. But from a conservative gamer’s perspective, there’s no 'game' here. No choices, no strategy, just compliance with a beat.
The music tracks are okay, but they feel like the generic royalty-free stuff you hear in a bank commercial. The 'Cat' theme is barely present and doesn't add much to the experience. It feels like an app that was made by a music teacher who heard about 'gamification' and did the bare minimum to make it fit the description. If you’re actually trying to learn music, this is a decent $5 investment. If you’re looking for a rhythm game like Rock Band or Cytus, stay far away. It’s a tool, not a toy.
