Calling this a 'game' is a bit of a stretch, but as a teaching tool, it’s actually quite competent. As someone who appreciates skill and discipline, I can respect what Treble Cat is trying to do. It takes the tedious task of memorizing the treble clef and turns it into a rhythmic exercise. It’s not 'fun' in the sense of a grand adventure, but it provides a clear sense of progression and mastery. You start with basic C-E-G and work your way up to complex ledger lines.

The UI is a bit dated—very early 2010s mobile aesthetic—but it’s clean and gets the job done. I don't care for the cartoon cat, but the sound samples are high quality, which is crucial for a music app. If you’re actually trying to learn piano or another instrument, this will save you hours of staring at a workbook. It’s a specialized tool for a specific audience. If you aren't interested in music theory, don't even bother looking at this.
