I’ve seen this song and dance a thousand times before. Sled Surfers doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, or in this case, the sled. You tap, you dodge, you collect shiny bits. It’s functional, sure, but it feels like a template pulled off a shelf. The physics are floaty, lacking the weight you'd expect from a sled on ice, and the 'challenges' are just the same hazards spaced closer together. It’s the kind of game that fills a five-minute gap at a bus stop but leaves no lasting impression. In an era where mobile gaming could be so much more, this feels like a step backward into the 2010s clones. The progression system is a blatant treadmill designed to keep you clicking without offering any real mechanical depth. If you've played one infinite runner in the last decade, you've already played this, just with different textures.
